Hello to everyone!! Can you believe school will be starting in just a few short weeks!? If you have any missed lessons from the summer months that still need to be rescheduled, please talk to the office to arrange a time.

A few performance notes:

*Thank you to all who performed during Beach Week! As usual, the students played really well, and everyone had a great time.

*Back-to-School Blues is right around the corner! The students will be performing again the week before Labor Day. This time the theme will be the blues. Since School will be back in session, most parents will be rejoicing and most students will have the blues!

Tots Rock! If you have toddler at home or know someone who does, Tots Rock! is free for the month of August. Tots Rock! is a fun parent-toddler class in which a variety of musical concepts are introduced using multiple genres. We have two classes being offered. Wednesdays at 10 AM in Fort Collins and Thursdays at 10 AM in Windsor. Important Office Notes:
Over the years, we have noticed a trend that we are hoping to change. The trend is that payments are coming in later every month. Tuition payments are, and have always been, due on the first of each month. One reason for this is that we have nearly 75% of our accounts payable due on the first couple days of each month. This includes paying your child's teacher. As the school continues to grow, so does the percentage of people paying late. We have tried to stress the importance of getting payments in on time. However, less than 30% of our accounts receivable is paid by the 1st of each month. This means that we are incurring late fees and other penalties.

Therefore we have a new late fee policy.

Your tuition is due on the 1st of each month. For each day past the 1st that your payment has not been received, you will incur a late fee of $5 per day per invoice (including weekends and holidays). For example, if you make your payment on the 10th, your late fee will be $45 since payment is 9 days late. We decided on this late fee schedule and amount after researching other children’s activity/care policies.

Due to schedule demands, clients will not be permitted to incur more than 30 days in late fees. You will be notified if your invoice is approaching 30 days past due.

This new late fee policy will go into effect with the tuition due on September 1st, 2011.
